Payment is processed via credit card through Stripe. 50% is due upon booking and the remaining 50% is due 29 days before check in.
If a reservation is canceled more than 30 days before the check-in date, the Renter will be refunded the Booking Total amount, except for the payment processing fee, unless the California Cancellation Policy is applicable.
If a reservation is canceled within 30 days of the check-in date but no less than 14 days before check-in, the Renter will receive a 50% refund of the Booking Total amount, except for the payment processing fee, unless the California Cancellation Policy is applicable.
If a reservation is canceled within 14 days of the check-in date the Renter will not receive any refund unless the California Cancellation Policy applies.
California Cancellation Policy (Effective 07/01/2024): If the reserved Property is located in California, and the reservation, including the signing of the rental agreement and payment, is made over 72 hours before the check-in date and then canceled within 24 hours of the booking date, the Renter will receive a refund of the Total Booking amount.
There is an additional fee for early check-in and late check-out. Please inquire with our reservations team regarding the fee amount. For early check-in, you can check in 3 hours early. And for late check-out, you can check out 3 hours later. This fee is collected after the reservation is made during the pre-check in process.
Most of our homes are pet friendly. Please inquire with our reservations team to see whether a specific home allows pets. We allow a maximum of two pets per home subject to approval by our team. There is a $150 fee per pet. This fee is collected after the reservation is made during the pre check-in process.
For an additional fee, the pool and spa may be heated for your use and enjoyment upon request. Please contact a reservation agent as to the cost of pool heating prior to check-in. Pool will be heated to 85 degrees and you will have access to all spa functions during your stay. Please advise beforehand if you want to take advantage of the pool heater as it can take over 24 hours to heat the pool depending on its size and time of year. These fees are collected after the reservation is made during the pre check-in process. If you would like to cancel pool heating, this must be done more than 24 hours before check in to receive a full refund of fees, as we have to start heating the pool a day in advance to ensure it is warm by your check-in time.

We provide a starter kit of consumables for your stay which includes: paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, coffee, tea, sugar, laundry pods, dryer sheets, toilet paper, make up remover, shampoo, conditioner, body gel and a welcome gift basket. This list is only intended as a starter kit; If you run out of consumables then you must be purchase additional items yourself. We also provide body towels and pool towels for the occupancy of the home, plus a set of hand towels and wash towels.
Our kitchen is stocked with an extensive list of small appliances, cookware, dinnerware and utensils needed to prepare almost any family meal. We provide a starter kit of seasonings including salt, pepper and olive oil. Please inquire with our team if you would like a complete list of all our cookware and small appliances.

We place a $750 refundable hold on the credit card on file as a security deposit. This is not a charge and will not appear on your credit card statement; it is simply a hold that will be released 3 days after check out. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information
This Short Term Rental Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made by and between Helios Vacation Rentals LLC, a California limited liability company (“Manager”) and the person or entity that signs this document at the bottom (“Renter”) (Manager and Renter are hereafter sometimes referred to as a “Party” or together as the Parties”) with reference to the following facts:
WHEREAS Manager makes available to people such as Renter short term rental access to residential properties such as the one Renter has applied to rent (the “Property”). Manager makes pictures of the Property available at https://heliosvacations.com/, and
WHEREAS Renter has indicated to Manager that Renter desires to rent the Property for the term specified below, with the understanding that Manager is the manager of the Property and not the owner of it.
NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, and intending to be bound hereby, the Parties agree as follows:
